Superconducting Magnet
As a result of a request to house a customer owned superconducting magnet, AS Scientific Products Ltd.
designed, built and supplied a system to meet this requirement.
The system was based upon the Orange Cryostat principles and offered a temperature range of 1.5 - 100 K. The system was fitted with Cernox sensors. 100 Amp current leads were provided to power the large, wide angle access asymmetric split solenoid magnet.
